MINI Cooper Moment Activations
MINI Cooper USA wanted to position themselves as culturally relevant amongst the local art & design community in San Francisco and LA.
To achieve this, we partnered with a series of urban, cool artists on the West Coast and created some memorable social moments for MINI. One of which was local San Francisco based photographer and editor, Travis Jensen, whose work focuses on candid street scenes, street portraits and urban landscapes as well as the SF Neighborhood Theater Foundation who held summer outdoor movie screenings around San Francisco.
We set up a mini art gallery of Travis Jensen's work at one of the summer outdoor screenings in Washington Park, San Francisco Bay, where seated moviegoers could interact, view his work, get signed copies of the artist's latest photography book and meet Travis in person.
We also produced and gave out custom branded tote bags and other merchandise to the audience.
The event was effective in increasing exposure to the brand, the artist and the local cultural community.
My role involved collaborating with account teams to produce the initial creative pitch in deck, location scouting, logistics planning, props and creative production of merchandise, organization of physical event, onsite staffing, vehicles, ROS, etc.
